Application Fee

• The fee payment can be done through debit/credit card or demand draft/e-challan.
• Rs. 800/- with an additional fee of Rs. 500/- per course for Group A & PG courses or Rs. 100/- per course for Group B.
• Demand draft should be made in favor of “C.M.C. Vellore Association a/c” payable at Vellore from any nationalized bank.

Eligibility Criteria

• The applying candidate should belong to Indian nationality.
• Candidates should have a domicile of Tamil Nadu state.

For UG Courses

• Intermediate passed from a recognized board/university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (BC/MBC/SC/ST-40%, SC-PH/ST-PH/BC-PH/GEN-PH-45%).
• Subjects: Must have a minimum of 5 subjects in intermediate with biology, physics, chemistry, and English as a compulsory subject.

For PG Courses

• 10+2 or bachelor’s degree in the respective field in which candidates want to get admission is required.

Age Limit

• The lower age of the candidate should be at least 17 years.
• The upper age of the candidate cannot be more than 25 years.

Exam Pattern

For UG Courses:

• The exam will be organized in an online mode.
• The test will be comprised of MCQ from physics, chemistry, and biology.
• The duration of the exam will be 2 hours (PCB) & 70 minutes (General Ability).
• Candidates will get 1 mark for the right answers.
• There will be no negative marking.
• The exam will be conducted only in the English language.

For Diploma Courses:

• The exam will be organized in an online mode.
• There will be multiple-choice questions asked in the exam.
• The question paper will be asked in English.
• The duration of the test would be of 90 minutes.
• 90 questions will be asked in the exam.
• Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.
• There is no negative marking in the paper.

Admission

• The admission process will be started after the declaration of results.
• Candidates need to visit college personally for the process of admission.
• Visit the college with all the relevant documents and exam result scorecard.
• Pay course fee at the time of admission.

CMC Vellore 2020: Syllabus

The syllabus consists of the course of 12th class boards recognized by the TN Dr. MGR Medical University. The syllabus of the entrance test contains topics from Chemistry, Physics, Biology & General Ability including speed & accuracy and some questions from current topical interest. The syllabus will also vary as per the courses opted by students.
