The CIFNET Application Form 2023 is released by the Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training on the official website. For any of the two courses offered at CIFNET, the application procedure for candidates will be online. The application forms of CIFNET Application Form 2023 will be available on the official website, fill before the last date. Details to fill in the Application Form

For B.F.Sc

• Candidate’s full name
• Fill date of birth
• Name of Father, a guardian with initials
• Tick on gender
• Tick on the category (OBC/ST/SC).
• Fill mother tongue.
• Complete address
• Fill in education qualifications

For VNC/MFC

• Write 01 for open and 02 for sponsorship
• Candidate’s full name
• Name of Father, a guardian with initials
• Complete address of the candidate.
• Fill in the date of birth
• Write 0 1 for SC 02, for ST 03, for the Fishermen community or 04 for any other community.
• The details of total marks obtained and percentage for 10th or equivalent and subsequent examinations passed may be filled.
• Tick language proficiency
• Fill in physical measurements
• Write whether knows swimming ( Yes/No)
• Tick the list of enclosures.

Eligibility Criteria

For Bachelor of Fishery Science (Nautical Science) [B.F.Sc (N.S)]

• Candidate must be passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent examination in English and Maths and aggregate marks in other Science subjects.
• For SC/ST and the candidates, only passed class required.
• The appearing candidates for 10+2 exams are also eligible to apply.
• The age limit for the candidates should be 17 years to 20 years (October 01 of respective year)
• The selection will be based on a Common Entrance Test, Academic Merit, Interview.

For Vessel Navigator Course (VNC) & Marine Fitter Course (MFC)

• Candidate must be passed 10th class with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent examination with 40% marks in Maths and Science separately
• The age limit for the candidates will be 15 to 20 years (August 01 of respective years)
• The selection will be based on All India basis Common Entrance Test (CET).

CIFNET Application Form 2023: Important Instructions to fill

• Fill up only in English using the Capital letters.
• Write only one character in one box.
• Leave one box blank between words.
• Use only a Black Ballpoint pen.
• Use a comma to separate letters or groups of words.
• Illegible/wrong/filling with overwriting, the incomplete application form will lead to Rejection.
• Information provided in the forms will be treated as final.
• No request for correction, alteration, addition, etc. will be entertained.
