CCMN stands for Centralized Counselling for M.Sc. /M.Sc. (Tech). The CCMN is conducted to get admissions in NITs and CFTIs. NIT (National Institute of Technology) and CFTI (Central Funded Technical Institutes) are one of the most reputed universities to get admission into and CCMN is the national level counselling process that takes place to get admission into the university for M.Sc. and M.Sc. (Tech) course. The selection process for the admissions into the universities is based on the scores of the JAM exam after which the CCMN process takes place. CCMN 2024 Application Process
The candidate who is willing to get admission to these reputed universities’ NITs and CFTIs must fill out the application form from CCMN’s official website before the last date. This is a necessary process to get admission into the universities so the candidates must go through this part to know how to fill out the application form:
- Go to the official website of CCMN
- Go to the online registration and then click on the online choice filling button
- The candidates who are new to the website must first register themselves for the counseling process
- The candidates need to fill out all the details asked in the form along with their JAM score, Registration Id, phone number, Email Address, etc.
- Select the one valid choice
- Enter the password and then submit the application form
- Candidates will receive OTP on the registered contact number and PID (Permanent Identifier) o the email address
- The registration is complete. Now the candidates can log in to their accounts to fill in the rest of the details
- Upload all the necessary documents required in the form
- Before submitting check all the details filled in and click on the “Submit” button.
Application form fee details
All candidates need to necessarily submit the application form fee after successfully registering themselves for the counseling session. The details for the same are mentioned below:
The application fee for general/EWS and OBC category candidates is INR 2500/-
The application fee for SC/ST and PwD is INR 2000/-
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for CCMN 2024 is given below. All the students must check the eligibility criteria according to their preferred courses before filling out the application form.
- The candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
- The general/OBC and EWS candidate must have scored at least 65% marks in their bachelor’s, Similarly students from SC/ST and PwD categories must have scored at least 60% marks in their bachelor
- The candidates must have certificates to prove their category
- The candidates must have cleared the JAM exam
- In certain subjects class, 12th marks in math are considered as eligibility criteria for admission in that particular course.
CCMN 2024: Counselling process
The candidates must check the counseling process to have a complete idea of the process before progressing with it. The process is discussed below for the same:
- Firstly the candidates must log in to their registered account on the official website
- Next the candidates must choose and lock their preferred choices for the courses and institute in the website
- Make the payment for both counselling participation and counselling confirmation before progressing
- A provisional Admission letter will be generated from the official website
- For the rest of the admission process, the candidates need to visit the institute itself.
CCMN 2024: Surrender process
Even after successfully registering themselves for the counselling process, some students feel the need to surrender from the process and for the same there is a procedure that the candidates need to follow. The step-by-step process to surrender is discussed below. Interested candidates can go through it.
- Go to the official website of CCMN and login to your account
- Fill out the surrender form with all the details and a valid reason to surrender
- Submit the surrender form and an OTP will be sent to the registered number
- Along with the OTP, a surrender message will appear on the screen, the candidates must save the message and take the print out of the surrender letter
- The Counselling fee will be refunded once all the rounds of counselling are completed with deduction of the process charge from it.
