BU Bhopal Admission 2024: Established in the year 1970, Barkatullah University is situated in the capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. It is a state government-funded university with an area of 360 acres with 4 hostels for boys and a hostel for girls. - Under Graduate Program: BE, B.A LLB, B.Ed
- Post Graduate Program: MA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA
Eligibility Criteria
- BE: JEE scores accepted l Admission through DTE guidelines
- B.Ed: Graduation with 50% of marks. (Admission through Higher Education)
- BA L.L.B: 10+2 with 45% minimum for general and OBC categories. l For SC\ST 40% minimum Marks.
- M.Tech: B.Tech\B.E\B.Sc passed with a minimum of 50% marks.
- M.Sc: Passed B.Sc in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
- MA: Graduation in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks
- M.Com: B. A Management, B.Com or B.B.A passed with a minimum of 50% marks.
- MBA: Admission through DTE guidelines.
- M.Pharm: B.Pharm with a minimum of 50% marks
Other Criteria
- Reservation to various categories like SC, ST, OBC, Freedom Fighter, and Physically Handicapped will be as per the rules of the state government.
- The appearing candidates awaiting their final year results or in the final year can also apply.
- The admission of such candidates will be done when the final year result will be out providing he/she will be eligible for the course they applied.
Application Process
The application forms will be available online on the university portal. The students can apply through MP Online Portal. The application fee for General\OBC will be INR 300. For SC\ST, the application fee will be INR 150. The unpaid applications will automatically be dumped or rejected only the paid applications will be accepted. University reserves the right to make changes in the advertised admission program. - The University will conduct an entrance exam and provide admission through a Merit base.
