Bihar Polytechnic Counselling is conducted separately for PE, PPE, PM & PMD courses. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will conduct the Bihar Polytechnic Counselling. The counselling process will be done to provide admission in various polytechnic courses like PE, PPE, PM & PMD. Candidates can get admission in various polytechnic institutions of Bihar state on the basis of scores of DCECE. The process will be of a document verification process and a medical test round. Bihar Polytechnic Counselling Procedure
- The process of counselling will be organized through an online mode.
- Fill the choices of colleges for admission according to the rank.
- Candidates will be invited for counselling as per the marks and ranks in the merit list.
- There will be a document verification process and a medical test round to get eligible for admission.
- Bring all the required original documents along with one attested photocopy.
- Candidates with the seat allotted will have to submit the seat acceptance fee & proceed for the further admission process.
- To complete admission formalities, candidates have to report to the allotted colleges with the required documents & fees.
- To attend the counselling process, candidates must be eligible in all aspects as given below.
Documents Required for Counselling
- Class 10th and 12th mark sheet, admit card and passing certificate
- Bihar Polytechnic Admit card and Scorecard
- Six passport size photographs (same as pasted in admit card)
- Domicile certificate
- Character Certificate
- Transfer certificate
- Caste certificate
- Income certificate
Eligibility Criteria
- PE (Polytechnic Engineering): Passed 10th or its equivalent examination with a minimum 35% qualifying marks.
- PPE (Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering): Passed 10th or its equivalent examination with two years ITI/ with two-year experience.
- PM (Para Medical Intermediate Level): Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with PCM/B & English subjects.
- PMD (Para Medical-Dental (Matric Level)): Passed 10th or its equivalent examination from CBSE/ICSE & recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects.
Age Limit
- PE (Polytechnic Engineering): No maximum & minimum age limit to apply.
- PPE (Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering): The age limit must be 19 years as on 1st July 2023.
- PM (Para Medical Intermediate Level): The age limit must be 17 years (Minimum) & 32 years (Maximum) as on 31st December 2023.
- PMD (Para Medical-Dental (Matric Level)): The age limit must be 15 years (Minimum) & 30 years (Maximum) as on 31st December 2023.
