For the academic session 2023-22, candidates can apply who want to take admission into various polytechnic courses in Bihar. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) Conducts DCECE (Polytechnic Entrance Exam). The number of candidates participates in this entrance exam, every year.

To apply for both first-year and lateral entry scheme, Fill all the required details carefully and upload the signature and the photograph. After completing the application form, send the hard copy of the Part-A and Part-B with Challan and other enclosures by speed post/registered post to the official address. Aspirants are advised to fill the application form before the last date.

Steps to fill Bihar Polytechnic Application Form 2023

• Go to the official website of BCECEB. (Online application link will be updated here)
• Click on “Apply for DCECE (PE/PPE/PM/PMD)-2023” link.
• The First step is to register on the website.
• Candidates can register by entering an email ID and valid mobile number for further communication.
• Log in to your account with the provided registration number (user ID) and password by click on Sign In.
• Pay the application fee through any one of the available modes.
• After successful payment, click on “Fill the Personal Information” link.
• Upload the recent color passport size photograph and the signature in Hindi.
• Provide the education information by clicking on the “Fill the Educational Information” link.
• Preview your filled-in application form for errors and mistakes.
• Click on the final submit after reading the declaration.
• Download the Part-A and Part-B of the completely filled-in application form and send it to the official authority.

Application Fee

• General/OBC category aspirants have to pay the Rs. 750/- as an application fee.
• The SC/ST/PH aspirants have to pay Rs. 480/- as an application fee.
• The application fee will vary as per the different courses opted by the aspirants.
• Candidates can remit the fee either from Challan (offline) or from Credit card/debit card/ net banking (online).
• The fee is non-refundable or non-transferable in any case.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be a resident of India.
• Candidates must be passed 10+2 exam from the education board of any national or state level.
• For ANM examination should have the minimum age of candidates of 17 years.
• For PM examination should have age between 17 to 35 years as on Dec 2023.
• Those applying for PMD examination should have age limit between 15 to 30 years as on Dec 2023.
• However, there is no specified date for PE programs.
