BHU SCS 2023: The admission process of BHU SCS is managed by Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for various Diploma and Certificate Courses under Special Courses of Study. The SCS courses include the field of Agriculture, Paintings, Advertising, Printing, Social Science, Science, Visual Arts, Law, Management Studies, Ayurveda, etc. The courses are provided in some Faculties/ Departments of the University as well as at Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur. Eligibility Criteria
Diploma Course in
- Tourism Management (Part-Time): Passed +2 (Intermediate) or equivalent examination.
- Office Management & Business Communications (Part-Time): Passed +2 (Intermediate) or equivalent examination.
- Microfinance and Entrepreneurship (one year 2-semester Part-Time): Students pursuing Graduate Degree/Graduated from any recognized University and its affiliated degree colleges situated in Varanasi.
- Leisure and Hospitality Management (one year 2-semester Part-Time): Students pursuing Graduate Degree/Graduated from any recognized University and its affiliated degree colleges situated in Varanasi.
PG Diploma in
- Bhojpuri and Janpadiya Adhyayan (Part-Time): A student holding Bachelor degree (10+2+3) with minimum 50% marks any discipline of the University or any other recognized University
- Hindi Journalism (Full Time): Bachelor’s Degree under at least 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate
- Journalism and Mass Communication: Bachelor’s Degree under at least 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate
- Indian Philosophy and Religion (Full Time): Graduation in any discipline
- Translation Skills for Varied Competencies (Full time): Post-graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grades. All things being equal, students having a P.G. degree in language/ literature/linguistics shall have a preference.
- Forensic Science and Medical Jurisprudence (Part-Time): Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Tax Management (Part-Time): Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
Mass Communication and Media Laws (Part-Time)
Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Human Resource Management, Service and Industrial Law (Part-Time): Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Corporate Governance (Part-Time): Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
- Business Administration (PGDBA) (Part-Time): (i) Must have Graduate Degree from a recognized Indian University or equivalent degree from Foreign University; and (ii) The candidate must have at least three years experience: (a) at supervisory level in a business organization OR is running own business, OR (b) in-service BHU Teachers/Officers
- Health Care Management (One-year Part-Time): (i) The candidate seeking admission to PGDHCM program must have a graduate degree in Bachelor of Public Health, MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/BHMS/ BUMS/BNYS/BNYS/BSMS and any other bachelor course recognized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India B.Sc. (Nursing)/B.Pharm from a recognized university OR (ii) The candidate seeking admission to the PGDHCM program may also have a Graduate Degree/Graduated from a recognized Indian University or Equivalent degree from Foreign University in any other stream with preferably have three years or more experience in the health care industry.

- Proficiency Certificate Course (4 Months) in the Bhojpuri Language: Passed +2 Examination or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University
- Certificate Program in Health Care Management (6-month 1-semester Part-Time): Students pursuing Graduate Degree/Graduated from any recognized University and its affiliated degree colleges situated in Varanasi.

BHU SCS 2023 Application Form
The application form will be released on the official website of BHU. Candidates can get admission in special courses of study in various fields. Visit the official webpage of Banaras Hindu University. Register by providing their email address and contact number. Applicants will be able to fill the application form and fill all the correct and complete details. Select the course and check eligibility option in order to know about the eligibility requirements for a particular course. Upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature in the application form. Review the application form after entering all the required details. Make the payment of application fee through online mode as given below. Take the print out of it for future use.

Counselling
The shortlisted applicants in the merit list will be called for the counseling procedure. Such candidates will get a call letter to attend the counseling session. Candidates should be present at the counseling center with the required documents. The call letter can only be downloaded and printed from the candidate’s e-mail account or can be downloaded from the BHU’s entrance test.

- Transfer Certificate (TC) issued by the institution last attended.
- Matriculation or its equivalent certificate to ascertain the date of birth.

- Character Certificate issued by the institution last attended.
- Migration Certificate, If passed from a University other than BHU.
