Assam TET 2023: The Department of School Education which is also known as the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) releases a notification for the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) to recruit teachers for the lower primary and upper primary classes in schools. Interested aspirants can get the teacher post in the lower primary category includes classes from one to five whereas the upper primary category pertains to the classes 6th, 7th, and 8th. Eligibility Criteria
- Only Indian candidates can apply for the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET).
- To appear for the Assam TET candidate should not be above 38 years.
- The age limit is relaxation is of 5 years for SC/ST Applicants.
Lower Primary Level
- Applying candidate if he/she belongs to the general or open category must have to clear 12th class final examinations with all subjects with at least 50 percent marks.
Upper Primary Level
- Applying aspirant if they belong to the general or open category must have complete 12th class education from a school of a recognized board at least 50 percent marks.
- Or have a two-year B.Ed during his/her graduation.
