APTET 2024: Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (APTET) is a state-level test for the recruitment of teachers in Primary School (class 1st to 5th) and Upper Primary School (Class 5th to 8th). Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh Conducts APTET every year. APTET 2024 will be held online, a Computer-based test. The candidate shall follow the procedure for submission of online form as given in the information bulletin and user guide manual. Application with no photo/inadequate size photograph will be rejected. Candidate must fill online application before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria
For Primary Teachers:
- Applicants must be a citizen of India.
- Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
- Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing the final year of 4 tears Bachelor of Elementary Education(B.El.Ed).
- Intermediate /Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Relaxation of 5% or such percentage as permitted by the Govt. at the time of admission to teacher education course concerned in minimum qualifying marks at intermediate/Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST/Differently abled candidates.
- NCTE guidelines of August 2010 quote that candidates who acquired qualifications prior to August 2010 are eligible with the above-said qualification/percentage of marks.
For Upper Primary Teachers:
- B.A. /B.Sc. /B.Com pass or pursuing the final year of 2-year diploma in elementary education.
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Pass with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing the 1-year bachelor in education.
- B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. Pass with at least 50% marks and pass in or pursuing 1 year B. Ed Special Education Course.
- Relaxation of 5% in minimum qualifying marks in Intermediate/Senior Secondary level is admissible for SC/ST /Differently abled candidates’ .also relaxation of 5% or the quantum relaxation in term of government orders given at time of admission into respective teacher education course in minimum qualifying marks at B.A/B.Sc/B.com is admissible for SCX/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates.
- If the candidates has not secured the requisite amount of percentage of marks in bachelor’s degree but secured post-graduation in relevant school subject she/he will be eligible for applying for paper 2.
APTET 2024 Application form:
- The candidate shall at first download the information bulletin from the APTET website, go through it carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for APTET.
- The candidates shall follow the procedure of submission of online application as given in the information bulletin and also as per the instructions provided online while filling up the online form.
- Pay the application fee. On receipt of fee at AP ONLINE, e-Seva candidates are issued a journal number with which they can submit their application form.
- Enter your journal issued by APONLINE e-seva date of fee and date of birth.
- At the field ‘Attach your latest photo’ click on the browse button and attach your photograph and your signature attached stored on the local machine.
- Tick the declaration and enter the verification code.
- Press upload.
- When the application form is opened check if the photo is of the required size, clear and is of the same candidate of whom the details are to be filled in the application.
- After filling all details press preview button, this will display details submitted by you.
- On n submission of the application form, online the candidate shall be given reference ID number which should be kept carefully for any kind of future correspondence.

- There will be a total of 150 multiple-choice questions.
- The duration of the Exam is 2:30 hours.
- There will be a total of 5 subjects, covering exam.

APTET 2024 Admit Card
- Applicants must download admit card for AP TET 2024 from the official website of the Authority.
- Candidates are required to print a copy of Admit card.
- Admit card will contain details like Roll number, personal details of the candidate like name, Father Name, Date of Examination, Timing, and venue of Examination.
- Admit card is a mandatory document and must be carried on the day of examination.
