Before filling the Allahabad University Application Form, candidates must have to read the instruction carefully. The online application form will be issued from the website.
Eligibility Criteria
For UG Programmes
- BA Music, BPA: Passed intermediate with Music as one of the subjects or any equivalent exam in Music.
- B.Sc. Home Science: Female candidates, who have passed the 10+2 examination with the Science group or any other group with Home Science as one of the main subjects.
- B.Sc. (Mathematics, Science): Appeared or passed in the 10+2 examination in any stream recognized by CBSE, ICSE or U.P Board. Or Passed 10+2 with science or Biology group are eligible to apply for the B.Sc programme.
- BFA: Passed 10+2 in any group are eligible to apply. Candidates must not be more than 22 years old as of July.
- B.Com: Passed 10+2 examination with Commerce group.
For PG Programmes
- M.Tech (Earth System Science): Students with an M.Sc degree in Mathematical Science/Physical Science/Chemical Science/Geo Science/Life Science or B.E/B.Tech degree with 55% (50% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. Or Candidates, working in the research & development department in the field of Earth System/cognate discipline are also eligible to apply (under sponsored category).
- MA (Sociology, Sanskrit, Urdu): Passed the BA degree in the relevant discipline.
- MA (Ancient History, Political Science, Philosophy, Education, English, Hindi, Mass Communication, Theater & Films): Must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
- M.Sc./MA (Mathematics, Geography, Defense Studies, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics): Passed the BA degree in the relevant discipline.
- MA Economics: Passed the BA degree in the relevant discipline and must have studied Mathematics/Statistics or Economics in graduation.
- MA Development Studies: Passed 10th & 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate.
- Students with BSW/B.Com/B.Sc. Agriculture/BA in Economics/ Bachelor in Development Studies/BBA/B. Planning or Bachelor in Rural Development with 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.
- MA/M.Sc. (Anthropology): Passed the BA degree in the relevant discipline and must have studied Mathematics/Statistics or Economics in graduation.

Admit Card
- It is important to take Admit Card with you while going to the examination centre.
- The details about the exam venue, time and dates will be mentioned in the respective cards of the candidates.
- The candidate will not be allowed to give the exam, without the admit card.
Result
- Result 2023 will be declared after a few weeks of completion of the examination.
- The result will be made available on the official portal, local newspapers and notice board of Pravesh Bhawan.
- Those who qualify for the exam based on the course will be called for the Interview/Counselling.
