UTET 2024: Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test Forms, Dates, Eligibility

UTET 2024:  The Government of Uttarakhand conducts UTET  for all aspiring candidates who want to become primary levels of teachers and upper primary levels of teachers. UTET is conducted in two major positions and hence candidates will be given suitable opportunities. With the help of secured marks, anyone can get primary levels of teaching jobs and they are eligible to become appointed as upper primary levels of teachers. Candidates can download important notifications from official websites updated directly by the Department of School Education of state of Uttarakhand. Candidates have to come up with a B.Ed qualification compulsorily to apply for this exam.

UTET 2024 Application Form

The application form will be available from the notified post offices upon the payment of the specified application fee. The recent passport-size photograph and signature is required while filling up the application form. Candidates also need to deposit their application fee with the challan. When the payment is done, the candidates will have to update the transaction details like the deposit amount, transaction id, etc. The duly filled application form must be submitted to the official authority.

Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must be a citizen of India.
• The Candidates age should not be more than 38 Years.
• The candidates should clear Senior secondary with a minimum of 45% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or
• Candidates should have cleared higher secondary with a minimum of 50% marks along with a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or
• Candidates should have cleared the Higher Secondary exam with 50% marks along with 4 years of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• For the upper primary, the candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in their Higher Secondary exam and also possess a 4-year degree in B.A. / B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. or B.A.Ed or B.Sc. Ed can apply.
• The candidates with a degree in B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com and a minimum of 50% marks and a B.Ed degree can also apply
• Siksha Mitra who has cleared 2 years Diploma in D.El. Ed from IGNOU is also eligible for the exam
• 5% relaxation is provided to the candidates of the reserved category

UTET 2024 Admit Card

The candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website. They will have to click on the right link for the admit card and enter the registration number. The candidates must carry the e-admit card along with them to the examination hall. Without the admit card, candidates won’t be allowed inside.

Syllabus

• Child Development and Pedagogy: Characteristics and needs of diverse learners, interaction with learners and the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator of learning, interaction with the focus on understanding for characteristics and needs of diverse.
• Language – I (Hindi): Teaching Learning Materials, Unseen Prose Passage Comprehensive & Continuous Evaluation, Principles of Teaching English, Development of Language Skills, Teaching, Learning Materials, Unseen Prose Passage, etc.
• Language – II (English, Urdu, Sanskrit): Modal Auxiliaries, Basic knowledge of English Sounds and their Phonetic Transcription, Phrasal Verbs and Idioms, Literary Terms, Unseen Prose Passage, Unseen Poem, etc.
• Social Science: Questions will be based on Social science, Intentions & pedagogical Knowledge.
• Environmental Studies: Water, Group songs, Health, good habits & personal hygiene, Our Punjab, Solar System, Basic, needs, Food, resources and care, Our Surroundings, Clothes dresses & their care, Natural Resources, Living and nonliving, Looking at the trees, plants & animals, Parts of plants, etc.
