West Bengal ITI 2023: A common entrance test for admission into ITI Programme is organized by the West Bengal State Council for Vocational training. Candidates can take admission in various ITI institutions located across the West Bengal state. WBSCVT ITI 2023 Updates

Eligibility Criteria

WB ITI Courses come under the two groups E group and M group.  Students should fill the desired criteria for each group. The academic eligibility for the admission in the different streams may vary from class VIII pass to class XII pass depends on the selected stream.

• For E group– Class Eight passed from a recognized school located in West Bengal.
• For M group– Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from a recognized board from a school located in West Bengal.
• Students can apply only for one course if he/she will apply for both the courses the application form is rejected by the ITI council of the West Bengal.
• Age Criteria: while the age criteria for the exam appearance has been decided to apply for admission in various ITIs colleges across the state. The applicant should attain at least 14 years of age as on 01.08.2023.
• There is no upper age limit.
• There is some relaxation in age by the state council for special students such as Ex-servicemen and Widows.

West Bengal ITI 2023 Application Form

WB ITI Application form will be available from 1st week of March 2023. Candidates are advised to be ready with all documents along with a scanned copy of Images that upload during the registration. It’s important to pay the fee. The payment can be paid by debit card, credit card, SBI challan.

• For boys: Rs. 200/-
• for girls: Rs. 100/-

Selection Procedure

• For E Group trades: On the basis of a Common Entrance Test (CET- 2023)
• For M Group trades: On the basis of marks obtained in Madhyamik or equivalent board examination.

Exam Pattern

• The complete examination process will be as per the government norms.
• The examination pattern will be of various categories that are General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English Comprehension, General Intelligence, and Reasoning.
• There will be no negative marks for every wrong answer.
• Candidates must have a grip on each and every domain.

West Bengal ITI 2023 Counselling

The choice filling is the foremost step candidates need to accomplish for attending the counselling procedure. After the release of its official notification, the schedule of the choice filling procedure will be updated to you. One can put his/her choice of institutes and trades according to the seat availability of that particular institute. Before the specified deadline, candidates are advised to fill their choice.

Documents required for counseling

• WB ITI Admit Card /Score Card
• 10^th/SSC Class Original Mark Sheet as a proof of Date of Birth
• 12^th/ HSC Class Mark Sheet and Xerox
• Caste Certificate for Reserved category
• Transfer and Migration Certificate
• College Allotment letter

WB ITI 2023 Admit Card

Students can go through the official web portal website, and search the link of the admit card. Just tap on the “download admit card for CET” link given on the portal. By the application form number, students applied for either the E group or M group, can download their WB ITI Hall Ticket 2023. Read the Instruction carefully given in the Admit card that the students need to print out the admit card either color printout or black and white printout. The most important thing is that what type of documents the students need to carry for appearing in the exams.

Result

All students who have appeared in the exam as per their scheduled time and date those students need to check the result online on its official website by entering the application number. WBSCVT ITI Result is going to upload for those students who have filled the exam form carefully and appeared in the exam as per the scheduled date. Students can download results and take a print out for future reference. This result will be useful for admission by participating in the counseling.
