SVVU MVSc Admission 2024: Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) will soon going to issue a notice of MVSc Admission for those candidates, who wish to get admission to 2 years Master of Veterinary Sciences (M.V.Sc.) program in various specializations they may apply by filling admission form with all important details. University invites applications to form from eligible students for admission to (M.V.Sc.) program. SVVU was started in 1995 to support education research and services in the fields of Veterinary Science, Dairy Technology, and Fishery Science in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
SVVU Tirupati
Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati was established in 2005, is the execution of a dream which had been long remained unrealized. The first seeds of the Veterinary University in Andhra Pradesh may be said to have been sown in 1955, by beginning the first Veterinary College at Bapatla.

Eligibility Criteria
for M.V.Sc
Those who wish to get admission into Master’s Degree courses must have passed the relevant Bachelor’s Degree examination specified against from Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University /ANGR Agricultural University/institution accredited by ICAR/VCI.
Age Limit:
The upper age limit must be 40 years as of 01st July 2024
SVVU MVSc Application Process
- The application form can be downloaded from the university website, www.svvu.edu.in.
- Downloaded and duly filled form along with attested copies of required certificates and copy of the counterfoil of Registration Fee must be submitted
- Applications received after the last date will immediately be rejected.
- Those who are in employment should send their applications through the proper channel.
- University is not liable for any postal delay.
- A list of eligible candidates for the entrance examination will be displayed on University Website on 23rd December 2024
- Admit Card can be obtained from the PG section, Administrative Office, and SVVU during working days.
Exam Pattern
- The written test is of 2 hours duration
- The entrance Exam paper contains only 200 multiple-choice questions.
- Students need to mark answers by darkening circles on the OMR sheet.
- Those who will score 40% or more marks on the entrance test only are eligible for admission.
- However, in the case of SC/ST/PH candidates, no minimum qualifying marks and
- SC/ST/PH candidates claiming seats under the general category need to possess at least 40% marks in the entrance test.
SVVU MVSc Admission Process
- Selection of eligible students will be based on the previous academic record (B.V.Sc & A.H) –30%, performance in PG Entrance Test- (70%).
- Note: In case of a tie, marks secured in Entrance Test, finally the date of birth in that order shall be considered to break the tie
- Those students who will apply for admission must appear for Entrance Test and counseling at their own expense.
- Information about the qualifying students in the entrance exam cum merit list will be displayed on the University website www.svvu.edu.in.
