NDA Eligibility Criteria- Age, Nationality, Qualification
The candidates whose dream is to join NDA have to qualify the entrance examination conducted by UPSC, New Delhi. The NDA examination held twice in a year in the months of April and September. The appearing candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria before they start the application procedure.
NDA 2017 Eligibility Criteria
NDA examination 2017 is going to be conducted at all India basis to recruit eligible candidates in Air Force, Navy, and Army. The candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the NDA 2017 eligibility criteria before they start application procedure.
Nationality
- The candidates applying for NDA 2017 must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan.
- Candidates can also apply who are Tibetan refugee and came to India before 1st January 1962 with mind-set to become a permanent resident of India.
Qualification
- The candidates who are interested in applying for Indian Army should have cleared higher secondary or its equivalent from a recognized board (appearing candidates can also apply for the examination)
- The candidates who are interested in applying for Indian Navy & Air Force should have cleared higher secondary from a recognized board or university with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory papers.
Age Limit
- To apply for NDA-I, students should be born between 2nd July 1998 to 1st July 2001.
- To apply for NDA-II, students should be born between 2nd January 1999 to 1st July 2002.
Marital status
- The candidates applying for NDA examination must be unmarried. Female candidates are not allowed to apply for NDA examination.

If a candidate appearing for NDA examination wears spectacles habitually then he is not eligible to apply.
