Tamil Nadu ITI 2022: The notification about Tamil Nadu ITI is released by the Directorate of Employment and Training for admission to various ITI courses for the government and private institute. Industrial Training Institute (ITI) will impart the skill training under craftsmen skill training. There are 85 government ITIs providing admission into 45 Engineering courses and 20 non-engineering courses. Admission will be for one or two-year courses according to the NCVT norms. The admissions will be on the basis of the merit of the candidates. Interested candidates can fill the application form through online mode. Eligibility Criteria
- Passed 10th or 12th from a recognized Board of Education.
- The age limit should be at least 14 years.
- There will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
- The candidate should have a domicile certificate in Tamil Nadu State.
Tamil Nadu ITI 2022: Application Form
Visit the official website of the Institute i.e., http://skilltraining.tn.gov.in/DET/index.html. On the ”Admission” Tab find the link for admission. Register yourself by entering the basic details and login with the given details. Fill the remaining part of the application form and upload required documents, Photo and Signature. Before making the final submission, check out the details that you have entered are valid or not. Click on the “Submit” button after filling the details. Make a payment of Rs.50/- for all categories through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Internet Banking. Applications will be accepted provisionally only if the payment is done.
Counselling
The merit list candidates will be called for counselling on the dates announced by the Institute on the official website. The original documents of candidates will be verified during the process of counseling. The following list of documents is to be taken to the Counselling Centre.

Tamil Nadu ITI 2022: Important Points
- Candidates should have qualified 8th Standard or 10th Standard or 12th Standard.
- Candidates should check it before applying for a particular trade because different trades will have different eligibility criteria.
- The age limit for the admissions will be 14 years to 40 years.
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks scored in the qualifying examination.
- In case there will be vacant seats left after the completion of the regular admission, then the spot admission maybe conduct.
