PUTHAT 2023 application form is released online by Punjab University through puthat.puchd.ac.in. Punjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT) is conducted for admission into Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM). The admission will be given at the University Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management (UIHTM). The candidates who want to take admission have to appear in the entrance exam. Eligibility Criteria
- Passed class 12th from CBSE with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/BC/PwD Category candidates) and English as one of the Compulsory Subjects or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council.
- Candidate of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are ineligible as the institution has been derecognized by Panjab University, Chandigarh.

PUTHAT 2023: Application Form
The candidates have to visit the official website to apply for PUTHAT 2023. Register by providing details to get a login id and password. Fill the application form and make payment for the same is given below.

Candidates can submit fee in both offline and online modes. Download the SBI challan after submission of the application form to submit the fee offline and deposit the fee in any branch of SBI.
Exam Pattern
- The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes
- The medium of the question will be English
- There will be MCQ type of questions asked in the exam.
- The total number of questions will be 100
- 25% marks are deducted for a wrong answer.

PUTHAT 2023 Counselling
Candidates who qualify the test by obtaining the minimum cut off percentage will be eligible to participate in the Counselling. Download and submit the Second part of the Admission Form from the official website along with the necessary documents. Physically present for the counseling and bring the original documents on the day of counseling.

PUTHAT 2023: Important Points
- The admit card will be issued through online mode only for only those candidates who will successfully register for the entrance exam.
- No printed admit card will be sent to the candidate through post/ courier.
- You must carry the Admit Card on the day of the examination.
- Retain the admit card till the admission process is over since it will be required again at the time of counseling.
- The University will publish the Answer key along with question paper at its official website.
- The University shall also offer the candidates to file an objection to the Answer Key.
- The result will be declared by the Punjab University on the official website.
- The University shall also prepare a merit list which will include the name of the qualifiers of the entrance exam.
- The applicants need to obtain minimum cut off marks in the test to qualify the entrance exam.
