NTA ARPIT 2023: Annual Refresher Programme In Teaching (ARPIT) is conducted by the National Testing Agency. Launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the program is a unique initiative for the professional development of higher education faculty in India. It is a national level eligibility test to get certificates equivalent to a refresher course of UGC which will help in the career advancement of faculty. National Testing Agency releases the notifications of ARPIT at ntaarpit.nic.in. An online exam is conducted, after the successful completion of ARPIT. Eligibility Criteria
- Faculty learners: The programme is specially designed for the development of faculty members working in a higher educational institution in India.
- Candidates must possess a supporting document such as faculty ID proof, appointment letter, pay slip etc.
- Non-faculty learners: The non-faculty learners can also take the exam for enhancement of their knowledge.

Exam Pattern
- The exam is conducted in online mode as a computer-based test (CBT).
- There will be objective type questions with multiple choices for each question, out of which only 1 is correct.
- The test lasts for a total duration of 3 hours.
- There are a total of 100 questions in the ARPIT 2023 CBT exam.
- For Correct Answer: +1 mark Is given and for the Wrong Answer: -1/3 marks is given
Qualifying Marks for ARPIT 2023
- The Certificates are issued to the candidates who score a minimum of 50% marks in the ARPIT 2023 exam.
- The National Testing Agency has specified 50% marks in the exam as the qualifying marks.

SWAYAM ARPIT Certificate 2023
- ARPIT certificate is issued to the qualified candidates by SWAYAM, as per the grading system.
- Candidates need to download the SWAYAM Certificate and keep it safe for future use.
- SWAYAM gives a certificate to both Faculty and Non-faculty who qualify the exam.
- All those candidates qualify the exam who gets grades above E.

NTA ARPIT 2023: Important Points
- It is necessary to register for the exam online.
- The application status can be checked on the ARPIT website using enrolment id and application number received during form filling.
- The candidates can choose 4 test centers, in the order of priority.
