UTET 2023: Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) releases a notification about the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility (UTET) for the teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. UTET is an entrance examination, organized for a teacher post & it is a state-level teaching entrance exam. Interested applicants can apply for this test to make their career in the teaching field. The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) is mandatory for students to get teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. In this test, there will be two levels in the examination. For a primary school teacher (class I-V) Paper-I and for a junior school teacher (Class V-VIII) Paper-II. Eligibility Criteria
Applying aspirant must be above 18 years and below 40 years
For Paper-I (Primary (I-V class))
- Must have an intermediate class with a minimum of 50 % marks or have a diploma of 2 years BTC or D.El.Ed course from an institute affiliated to NCTE.
- Those Shiksha Mitra aspirants who have passed 2 years D.El.Ed from IGNOU they can apply.
- Final year aspirants of D.Ed in an institution recognized by RCI are also eligible to apply.
For Paper-II (For Class VI-VIII):
- For the second exam, aspirant have 50% marks aggregate in Graduation degree or PG from a UGC approved institute with 2 years of B.Ed/ Shiksha Mitra in any institution affiliated to NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education)
- Final year aspirants can appear for this test.
UTET 2023: Application Form

- For Paper 1: Environmental Studies, Child Development, and Pedagogy, Language opted as Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 (Other than Hindi) and Mathematics.
- For Paper 2: Mathematics or Science (candidates can choose one of the subjects), Social Science or Language opted for examination as Language 1 (Hindi), Language 2 (any language other than Hindi such as Sanskrit, Urdu, etc.), Child Development and pedagogy.
