OTET 2023: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, conducts the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) for the teacher’s recruitment in Government Primary Schools and Higher Primary Schools. Eligibility Criteria
Category A (Paper 1):
- Students clear the 12th class exam with 50% marks from the recognized board along with that, you will also have to pass a diploma of 2 years in elementary education.
- Have to complete 10+2+3 in any of the streams and pass the diploma of elementary education for 2 years.
Category B (Paper-II):
- Aspirant passes the 10+2+3 with at least 50% marks and along with with it a one-year diploma in B.Ed.
- I also have a one-year B.Ed with Special Education.
- Students clear the 12th class exam with 50% marks from the recognized board marks and four years for B.A Ed/BSc. Ed.
- For the SC, ST, OBC/ SEBC category there is a relaxation of 5% for all the candidates.
OTET 2023 Application Form
To fill the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) application form candidate can visit the official link. Otherwise, candidates open the link in Google Chrome or in Firefox & they can open it in other browsers to fill the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) application form. After that candidate sees a link on the computer screen then they will get an option that says “Application Form OTET 2023”. The candidate has to click on that particular option.
Application Fee
- Applying aspirants pay Rs-350/- as application fee.
- The candidate uses the online mode to pay the application fee.
Exam Pattern
- Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test consists of 150questions & it carries 150 marks.
- The aspirant has 2 ½ hrs to finish the entire exam.
- In the exam, students have MCQ type of questions.
- In order to qualify the test candidate has to secure 60% marks in each paper.
