Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants must have an Indian citizen.
- They must belong to Kerala or have a valid domicile of Kerala or the parents of students must have a permanent employee in Central/State/Quasi Govt. or public sector undertaking in Kerala.
- Candidate must have qualified 12th from a recognized university.
- The applicants who have qualified SSLC/THSLC with Mathematics, Science & English can also apply for engineering/ technology & commercial practice/ management courses.
- The applicants who have qualified to have Mathematics & English in qualifying examination can also apply only for semester II (commercial practice/ management).
Kerala Polytechnic 2022 Application Form details
The application form for Kerala Polytechnic 2022 will be available from the 3rd week of May 2022. The interested applicants can apply online from the official website on or before the last date of application. The applicants will have to enter all the correct details as required on the application form. They also have to pay the application fee. The applicants will get admissions based on their % in board examination, the merit list of the applicants will be prepared then the rank will be allotted to them according to their merit.
Documents to be submitted along with application form (Self-attested copy)
- Domicile Certificate.
- Caste Certificate.
- Income Certificate.
- Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Mark sheet of SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination.
Separate applications are required to be filled in the following cases:
- Under NCC quota
- Under Sports Quota
- For the management seats under Aided programmes to be submitted at respective Polytechnics
- For regular seats in Government/Government Aided Programmes Government seats in Self Financing Programmes Special batch of Hearing Impaired (HI)
Application Fee
- The application fee is Rs. 150/- per district.
- Fee for SC/ ST candidates will be Rs.75/-.
Result
- Candidate can check result on 3rd week of June 2022.
- The authority will publish the result on the official portal online.
- Candidates have to enter their roll no to check result.
- Candidates can get the final rank list on Last week of June 2022 on the official website.
- The counselling will start from July 2022 onwards.
Counselling
- On the base of merit prepared by the authority, the admission to Kerala state Polytechnic institutions will be provided.
- The counselling will be based on merit drawn as per the student’s marks in 10th.
- The selection will be district-wise.
