JCECE 2023: It is conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. This exam provides admission into various institutions in the state of Jharkhand. Aspirants can take admission in UG courses such as B.Tech (dairy technology), Agriculture, Forestry, B.V.Sc. and A.H., etc. It is a state-level examination. Eligible candidates can start registering tentatively from the 1st week of April. Those candidates, who are going to appear for JCECE 2023, can check all the necessary details. Fill in the personal details as per the High school mark sheet.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech (Dairy Technology)

• The candidate should be 10+2 passed with physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English has taken together with 50% marks.
• The minimum age is 17 years at the year of admission.

B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)

• Candidate should be 12th passed with PCM subjects.
• The minimum age is 17 years and the maximum age is 22 years at the time of admission.

B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture and B.Sc (Hons.) Forestry

• The candidate should be 10+2 passed with physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology.
• The minimum age is 17 years and the maximum age is 22 years at the time of admission.

B.V. Sc. & A.H.

• Candidate should be 10+2 passed with physics, chemistry, biology, and English have taken together with 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).
• The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years.

BHMS

• The candidate should be 10+2 passed with physics, chemistry, biology, and English.
• The minimum age is 17 years at the year of admission.

Exam Pattern

• The Mode of Entrance Test will be Online
• The medium of the Question Paper will be English and Hindi
• There will be Multiple-choice type of Questions (MCQs) asked in the exam.
• Total Marks will be 150
• Each question will carry 1 mark. and 1/4 marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
• The Exam Duration for Physics and Chemistry will be 2 hrs and for biology and Mathematics will be 1 hr

JCECE 2023 Counselling

JCECE Counselling is organized after the declaration of results through online mode. JCECEB will conduct the computerized distributed Parallel counselling for admission. It will be done on the basis of the merit list prepared by the board. Candidates have to pay the counselling fee to participate in the counselling. The counselling authority will generate the allotment letter. Candidates also have to produce the required documents during counselling.

Syllabus

• Physics: magnetic effects of current and magnetism, the behaviour of perfect gas and kinetic theory, kinematics, Physical world and measurement, laws of motion, work, the motion of the system of particles and rigid body, gravitation, properties of bulk matter, current electricity, energy and power, oscillations and waves, electromagnetic and alternating currents, electromagnetic waves, optics, etc.
• Chemistry: p-block elements, the structure of the atom, classification of elements and periodicity in properties, Redox reactions, hydrogen, s-block elements (alkali and alkaline earth metals), some p-block elements, environmental chemistry, d and f block elements, coordination compounds
• equilibrium, solid-state, solutions, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, surface chemistry, Some basic concepts of chemistry, chemical bonding and molecular structure, states of matter, gases and liquids, thermodynamics,
• Mathematics: permutations & theorem, binomial theorem, sequence and series, Sets, relations & functions, trigonometric functions, linear inequalities, the principle of mathematical induction, complex numbers and quadratic equations, straight lines, introduction to three-dimensional geometry, limits and derivatives, mathematical reasoning, etc.
• Biology: plant physiology, human physiology, Diversity in the living world, the structural organization in animals and plants, cell: structure and function, sexual reproduction, etc.

JCECE 2023 Important Points

• The question will be based on the Intermediate level syllabus.
• The syllabus is approved by the Jharkhand academic council and C.B.S.E in the examination.
• Applicants can pay the application fee using a credit/debit card or bank challan.
• The application form of JCECE 2023 will be announced in the third week of April 2023.
• The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• You can either fill the JCECE ICR application form.
• The form is also available from the specified post offices.
• No options can be changed at a later stage after the submission of the application.
