MHT CET 2024: It is a well-known entrance test for admission to UG Engineering /Agriculture/Pharmacy courses in Universities and its affiliated colleges across the Maharashtra state. The exam will be conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Around 4.13 lakhs students appeared for this exam (as per the last year record). Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be an Indian National.
For Engineering Courses
- Passed class 12th exam or HSC examination with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject.
- Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology.
- The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the above qualifying exam (45% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates).
- Obtained qualifying marks in JEE Main Paper 1 (All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu, and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates)
For Pharmacy courses
- Passed class 12th exam or HSC examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology /Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject.
- The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the above qualifying exam (40% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates).
- There is no age limit applicable to this course.
MHT CET 2024 Application Form
MHT CET Application Form will be available online on the official website. There is no other mode to fill the MHT CET application form. Candidates must read the instruction carefully before filling the application form. Candidates have to enter their valid email id, mobile no. & password and also have to upload their recent passport size photograph and signature. The uploaded files should be in JPEG format. Keep the print copy of the confirmation page for further reference.

- The application fee can be paid through online mode only.
- The application fee will be non-refundable.
Exam Pattern
- It will be consisting of three papers.
- The question paper will come in English or Marathi or Urdu for PCB. The mathematics paper will be in English language only.
- Candidates can use a black ink ballpoint pen only to mark their answers.
- The question paper will be of a Multiple Choice Question.
- The duration of the exam will be 1½ hours for each paper.
- Each paper will be of 100 marks and no marks will be deducted for incorrect answer.
- For engineering courses, candidates have to appear for Paper 1 & Paper 3.
- For the Health science degree and other courses, candidates have to appear for Paper 1 & Paper 2.

Counseling
- Candidates will be called for the counseling, after the announcement of the result.
- As per the counseling schedule, candidates have to report to the regional center.
- The authority will invite the application for admissions after the verification of documents & eligibility.
- The documents & eligibility will be checked by the conducting authority of the selected candidates.
- The colleges & courses will be given in the decreasing order according to their preferences.

Syllabus
- The MHT CET Syllabus will be comprised of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics subjects.
- Candidates are advised to go through the complete syllabus topic-wise to cover the complete syllabus.
- Physics: Force, Friction in Solids and Liquids, Refraction of Light, Measurement, Scalars, and Vectors, Ray Optics, Magnetic Effect of Electric Current, Magnetism.
- Chemistry: Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Surface Chemistry. Nature Of Chemical Bond, Hydrogen, S-Block Elements (Alkali And Alkaline Earth Metals), States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Redox Reaction, Basic Principles and Techniques in Organic Chemistry, Alkanes.
- Mathematics: Factorization Formulae, Straight Line, Circle and Conics, Sets, Relations and Functions, Probability, Trigonometric Functions, Trigonometric Functions of Compound Angles, Sequences and Series
- Biology: Plant Water Relations and Mineral Nutrition, Plant Growth and Development, Diversity in organisms, Biochemistry of cell, Organization of Cell, Animal Tissues, Human Nutrition, Human Respiration.
MHT CET 2024: Important Points
- You can fill the application from any place of your convenience using the internet.
- Candidates have to upload scanned images of photograph & signature in a given format.
- You can pay the application fee through Challan.
- Appearing candidates can also apply for this exam.
- There is no age limit for these courses.
- The admit card link will be provided as soon as it will be released.
- Candidates have to carry the admit card along with the photo ID proof at the examination center (School/ Passport/College Identity Card).
- The exam will be conducted through offline (pen and paper-based) mode.
- There is no provision for negative marking.
- The authority will also release provisional & official answer key through online mode.
- Keep the printout of the result & keep it safe till the admission process is not over.
- Merit list will be prepared separately for all the courses, after the result declaration.
