IIPS Admission 2023: The International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) provides education and research in the field of Population studies for developing countries like Asia and Pacific divisions. Eligibility Criteria
- M.A & M.Sc: A Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Economics, Psychology, Anthropology, Geography, Social work, Sociology, etc.) and Mathematics and Statistics with a minimum of 55% marks in all subjects is required
- M.Sc: A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Health Statistics from a recognized institution in India or Abroad with a minimum of 55% marks in all subjects
- MPS: A Master’s degree in Social Science (Economics, Psychology, Anthropology, Geography, Social work, Sociology, etc.) and Mathematics and Statistics with a minimum of 55% marks in all subjects
- M.Phil: A Master’s degree in Population Studies/Biostatistics/Demography and Epidemiology/Health statistics with a minimum of 55% marks in all subjects
- Ph.D.: An M.Phil degree in Population Studies or M.Sc in Bio-Statistics and Epidemiology/Demography from a recognized institution in India or Abroad with a minimum of 55% marks in all subjects
Application Fee
- The application fee for IIPS Admission 2023 will be INR 1000/-.
- For OBC candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500
- The fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs. 250
- Fee can be paid through demand draft.
- The DD will be in favor of the Director, IIPS, Mumbai within the corresponding final submission dates.
IIPS Admission 2023 Selection Process
- M.A & M.Sc: The selection is based on the entrance examination.
- MPS: The selection is based on the entrance examination followed by an interview.
- M.Phil/Ph.D.: The selection is based on the entrance examination and Interview

- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Date of birth proof
Scholarship Details
- UGC-NET qualified candidates will be offered INR 25,000/- & INR 28000 per month for 1, 2nd & 3rd, 4th year respectively.
- Each candidate will also be offered a contingency award of INR 10,000/- for 1-2 years and INR 20,500/- for the third year.
- The candidates without NET lectureship qualification are also awarded INR 12,000/- per month for the first 1-2 years and INR 14,000/- for the third year inclusive of the yearly contingency allowance of INR 10000/-.
