Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test offers a 2-year Diploma course for the post of primary teachers in the state. It provides the teaching profession at an elementary level in the NCTE recognized Teachers Education Institute of the state. Eligibility Criteria
For all seats in all Government DIETs and Private Un-aided Elementary Teacher Education Institutions:
- Candidates must be Indian & a resident of Telangana state to apply for TS DEECET.
- Passed the Intermediate Examination or its equivalent is required to apply.
- Appearing candidates can also apply.
- However, such a candidate should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
- At least 50% of marks in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination are required to apply.
- The minimum percentage of marks will be 45% in the case of SS/ST and Physically Challenged candidates.
- The age of the candidates must be more than 17 years as of the time of counselling.
TS DEECET 2023 Application Form
Before filling out the Online Application form, the applicants must know all the guidelines. Visit the official website to fill out the application form. Fill carefully all the personal information & also academic details in the form. Applicants need to upload a scanned copy of their documents. Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
Application Fee
- The Application fee for TS DEECET 2023 is Rs.350/- for all the category candidates.
- The fee can be paid Online mode via Debit/credit/net banking.

Cut Off
- There will be minimum qualifying marks the applicants have to secure to qualify TS DEECET 2023.
- The cutoff marks for General is 35% and NIL for SC/ST.
Counselling
- There will be two rounds of counselling which are conducting by the Kota University.
- All the eligible candidates (rank wise) will apply for counselling.
- Candidates need to get the allotment letter and report at an institute.
- All documents will be verified during the admission.
Documents required during Counselling
- SSC and Intermediate Marksheet.
- Domicile Certificate.
- Character Certificate.
- Two colored passport size photos.
Migration and False Documents
- Migration can be considered at the sole discretion of the Director SCERT.
- No migration from one private college to another college will be considered by the affiliating authority.
- If found false, forged, fabricated or tampered document, the admission would be canceled at any stage.
- The final decision will be taken by the DEECET Directors.
- It will result in registering a criminal case against him/her and barring him/her for re-admission in DEECET for three years.
TS DEECET 2023: Other Info
- Students can download the admit card from the official website.
- The admit card is an essential document to present at the Exam center.
- Students must not forget their Admit card on the day of the exam.
- No candidate will get the Physical Admit Card by post.
- Candidates can enter the Application no/ DOB to get the result.
