IRMA 2020

IRMA 2020: Institute of Rural Management Anand is located in Anand in Gujarat. IRMA was founded with the initiative of the National Dairy Development Board and the support of the government of India and vision of this was of Verghese Kurien. Post Graduation Diploma in Rural Management is recognized as an equivalent to the Master’s degree in Rural Management by the Association of Indian University (AIU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education. Courses offered in IRMA:

IRMA offers courses in the field of rural management and dairy development under the light of the National Dairy Development Board. The motive of courses is to manage and enhance the growth of products and yield in rural areas:

  • Post Graduate Programme in Rural Management (PRM)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management(PGDRM)
  • Fellow Programme in Rural Management

IRMA Eligibility Criteria:

For PGDRM:

  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Candidate must have secured 50% in graduation, for the candidates of reserved category minimum percentage criteria is 45%.
  • Candidate must have appeared for the CAT or XAT
  • The candidate of the final year of graduation are also eligible for the PGDRM but they must complete their degree before the month of June of the same year.

For FPRM:

  • The candidate must possess PGDRM or Post Graduation or 4-year professional degree course.
  • Candidate must have secured 55% in Post Graduation level and 50% in graduation level.
  • The candidate must have appeared for the CAT or XAT as given in the year of examination of IRMA SAT.

For PRM:

  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Candidate must have secured 50% in graduation, for the candidates of reserved category minimum percentage criteria is 45%.
  • Candidate must have appeared for the CAT or XAT.
  • The candidates of the final year of graduation are also eligible for the PGDRM but they must complete their degree before the month of June of the same year.

IRMA 2020 Application Process:

  • The application form for the IRMA is available in both mode; Online and Offline.
  • Candidates have to log in the official website of authority.
  • Candidates have to provide asked information in format.
  • After providing asked details candidates must submit the application fee.
  • Application fee can be paid thru credit card/debit card or net banking. candidate can also pay by SBI challan.

IRMA 2020 Selection Process:

For Admission 2019, IRMA will be giving two types of calls to the prospective candidates:

  1. Profile Based Calls
  2. Non-Profile Based Calls

Candidates who fulfil the following criteria can be shortlisted for profile based calls:

  • Graduation in: Development, Agriculture, Dairy, Public policy, Sustainability, Veterinary Sciences, Food Technology
  • Work experience in the Development Sector, Dairy, Public Policy
  • Excellence: Graduation from Top University and Colleges.
  • Candidates who score above 80 percentile in CAT/XAT and fall in the profile based call criteria are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMA SAT and GD/PI process.
  • Candidates who score above 85 percentile in CAT/XAT and fall in the non-profile based call criteria are eligible to be shortlisted for the IRAMASAT and GD/PI process.
  • Both IRMA SAT and GD/PI process will be conducted at IRMA for shortlisted candidates.
  • The announcement of result would be in the set of pattern –CAT/XAT:40%, IRAM SAT:10%, GA:25% and PI:25%.
  • Candidates of NRI/NRI sponsored applicants/foreign nationals/Persons of Indian Origin and Overseas citizen of India may apply through GMAT/GRE scores.
  • Candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of above mentioned to the scores and PI.

IRMA Syllabus:

The syllabus of IRMA will contain the following topics: Indian Economy, Human development, Environmental issue, Rural and Urban Population, Social and Economic Policy, Employment and literacy, Education, Human Rights, Rural Development, Corporate Social responsibility, Health Issue
