Delhi Teachers Eligibility Test (DTET) will be organized by Delhi School Education Department in accordance with rules offered by Central regulating Authority. DTET 2020 is to examine the eligibility of candidates applying for the teaching. Delhi TET 2020 Application Process:
- Candidate must access the official website for the application, delhiboard.org.
- Register with valid email id and contact number.
- Now, in next step candidate must upload scanned images of signature, photographs, left thumb impression in the given format.
- Next step asks to fill the category of applicant. Fill category from which you belong to. Enter no, if you do not belong to the reserved category.
- Next step is for the payment of the fee. Pay fee as of your category.
- After submitting all details, recheck all details, if satisfied, click on submit button.
- After doing the payment, a confirmation page will be generated.
Delhi TET 2020 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must read all the eligibility criteria before applying.
- A candidate must be a citizen of India and also residents of Delhi.
- The candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% in total in their senior secondary and equivalent examination.
- Candidates passed from NIOS are also eligible for Delhi TET 2020.
- The age of candidates must be greater than 18 years and not more than 40 years.
For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5):
- Candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the Intermediate exam.
- Candidate must have completed B.EL.ED or studying in the final year.
- Candidate must have completed or in the final year of D.Ed (Specialization) in an institute recognized by RCI.
- Candidate must have completed or in the final year of BTC/passed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
- Candidates must have completed their graduation.
For Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6th to 8th):
- Candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the Intermediate exam.
- Candidate must have completed B.EL.ED or studying in the final year.
- A candidate who is in the final year of B.Ed in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
- A candidate who is in the final year of L.T. in an institute affiliated to NCTE.
- A candidate who is in the final year of B.Ed in an institute affiliated to RCI is eligible.
Application Fee
- Candidates have to pay Rs. 200 for the Teacher Eligibility Test.
- Candidate can pay the fee by e-seva or other online modes.
Delhi TET 2020 Examination Pattern:
- The examination pattern is required to know for any exam to score high, so, go through the examination pattern.
- The mode of examination for Delhi TET 2020 is offline.
- The objective type questions will be asked in Delhi TET.
- There is no provision of negative marking in Delhi TET 2020.
- The maximum mark for each question is 1.

Delhi TET 2020 Admit Card:
- The Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website of Delhi Education departments before the 15 days of examination.
- Candidate can download admit card by entering the application number and date of birth.
- The Admit card will carry information like name, father’s name, Roll number, date and time of examination, examination center etc.

- Language 1: Comprehension based question and concept for language development.
- Language 2 (English): Comprehension based question in English and Development of language.
- Environmental Studies: Air, Water, Parts of Body, Habitats, Natural Resources, Solar system, Food resources, and Care.
- Mathematics: Numbers, Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Shapes and Spatial Understanding.
